On October 13, 2007, after enduring the elements for 16 hours and 43 minutes, NBC Sports featured Scott Rigsby as he became the first double amputee in the world to finish an Ironman distance triathlon with prosthetics at the 140.6-mile Ford Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
On March 12, Scott comes to Thomasville to share his Unthinkable story with Rose City Tri Club and friends. This is a community-wide event, presented by Rose City Tri Club and hosted by Victory Fellowship Church. That means you don’t have to be a Winged Warrior to attend.
