Since we’re expecting our new baby soon, and since Ironman Chattanooga is fast approaching, we really need volunteers to organize and lead the Tuesday morning ride—which basically means just posting the details to the FB page and website calendar, so folks can join in. And grabbing a headcount…and promising not to drop anyone. Leader can change weekly if need be, and you can certainly adjust the date/time to suit your schedule, but we really would appreciate some help keeping this ride alive. I can’t say it enough…please hydrate. We have a seasoned member who landed in the hospital for 5 hours of post-race ice and IV-hydration last weekend. It can happen to anyone, even if you’re well practiced at this sport. If you have questions about training and/or racing hydration, please feel free to reach out to any of our club’s resources, especially Brady Irwin at Science of Speed or Jen Bendewish of Herbalife 24.
