End of Season SHINDIG!

It’s time to plan for our end of season carbo-loading event!

{If you missed the announcement, we had a venue change, leading to a date change for this event, so please update your calendars. Our SHINDIG takes place on Monday, December 2nd at 6 pm.}

The location for our great event is our new friend and partner, Paulie’s Brick Oven Pizza, located at 134 South Madison Street!

We’re ecstatic that we were able to connect with Paul Spencer and Scott Fernbach at Paulie’s, and that they’ve chosen to support our fantastic club as our host—and by opening their doors to us on an off-night. So we get to have our own private par-tay, and we expect you all to be there. And be hungry.

If you don’t know Paul and Scott, please pop in and say hello. Paul says he fell in love with downtown Thomasville’s atmosphere (of course!), and he moved here more than 3 years ago to open his business. Three things you may not realize about Paulie’s…

They use incredibly fresh ingredients that come direct from a Tally farmer’s market, so the quality of their food reflects this.

They’re open on TUESDAYs for lunch AND dinner, when many of our other great downtown eateries are not.

They offer more than just pizza. They also serve hoagies, wings, pasta, salads and more. Plus, we really dig their exposed-brick atmosphere!

We’re so grateful to all of our 2013 advertisers for their contributions, which will make this feast possible. AND there will be awards at our SHINDIG, with our series champions being crowned… So don’t miss it!

Please RSVP by November 15th by emailing Renee or RSVPing to the Facebook event. Let me know the number of people in your party, please (kids + adults).

  1. Looking forward to the par-tay, just FYI that is the same night as the downtown children’s Christmas parade starting at 6:30 parking and getting there may be an issue due to street closings.

  2. Just an FYI here. This is the same night as the *Thomasville Christmas Parade Downtown*. Not sure if you were aware of that. We have both kids walking in the parade so not sure when we will make it.
