Tuesday Newsday!

Hi everyone! Please welcome our newest (and 45th!) club member, Tony Sheffield, who joins us from Cairo!

Congrats to Marty Hufstetler on an impressive Ironman Florida 70.3 in Haines City last weekend!

Team Page: If you haven’t sent me your photo + bio yet for the Team page, please do so ASAP. If you have gear, please wear it for the photo.

Member ID Cards: If anyone is in need of a member ID card, please let me know.

Waivers: If you haven’t submitted a signed waiver, please do so. You can download the form PDF at the bottom of the About page.

Points: If you’re doing races in the RCTC championship series, please be sure to email your results to Clayton at claytonmoss@gmail.com within a few days of competing. We try to keep up with everyone, but its a big task! 🙂

Gear: Our 2nd batch of tech tees and our Headsweats visors appear to be on schedule to deliver toward the end of May/early June. I’ll keep you all posted when I have confirmation of delivery.

Rides: Melody + Beverly have organized a weekly Tuesday ride at 6:15 pm for the 16-18 mph set. It’s about 15ish miles long and leaves from Fredonia Baptist Church. If you’re interested in riding with these ladies, please let them know.

Upcoming Races: Looks like Alison Parker is entertaining the thought of some Monday running in Cordele… Everyone, please encourage her to get out there and race!

I’m racing this weekend in Crystal River at the DRCSports Sprint #1, and I’ll report back. Clayton is threatening to race, too… There are 2 more races in this series, plus a 3-race series in Jacksonville, and RCTC members get 10% off each entry. Plus we’re raffling off a free entry to the Jax race #1 (Raceday is June 22) just as soon as Lori appears on our doorstep to draw a name and make it official. Don’t miss these great events!

And I do believe Melody Gunter is planning to race her very first triathlon at Callaway Gardens on June 16. Is that right, Melody? We hear its a wonderful venue!

If you have races coming up, please let us know, so we can cheer you on. Thanks everyone.

Keep on hydrating, and happy training!
